Not just a place to list boats—but a practical resource for people who actually spend time on the water. Whether you’re buying your first boat, upgrading, or figuring out how to make life aboard work on the Gulf Coast, the goal is simple: give you straightforward guidance and real support—not sales pressure.
Background
I’m a USCG 100 Ton Master with Near Coastal and Towing Endorsements, and I’ve spent years working on the water in both professional and teaching roles.
Before moving to the Gulf Coast, I founded and operated Sacramento Delta Youth Maritime in California. During that time, I served as captain of the Morris, a retired U.S. Coast Guard cutter and the largest youth training vessel in the world. That experience was less about transactions and more about responsibility—teaching, safety, and helping people build real confidence on the water.
I’ve cruised and sailed extensively over the years, including throughout California, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida. I also own and race sailboats, which keeps me connected to a different side of boating altogether.

Approach
I don’t approach this as a traditional brokerage. The focus is on clear, honest advice and helping people make the right decision for their situation—even if that means slowing things down or walking away from a deal.
Boating is supposed to be enjoyable. The process of getting there shouldn’t feel rushed or pressured.
Life on the Water
I now live full time in New Orleans aboard a 53-foot Hatteras Motor Yacht, The Mad Hatter, with my wife and our four boat dogs.
Living aboard brings a different perspective—you’re not just around boats, you’re in it every day. The maintenance, the systems, the weather, and the logistics—it all becomes real. That experience shapes the way I help others navigate boating on the Gulf Coast.
