Yacht Sales Advisor, Southern California/Mexico
Pilot, Sailor, Wrangler, & Retired Bull Rider, Chris, raised in Southern California, grew an affinity for the ocean at an early age. His grandfather was retired from the U.S. Navy and would occasionally take him on boat rides in San Pedro Harbor.
Growing up, he would attend the Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade with family. Years later, Chris learned to sail and began racing 30’+ sailboats, often launching out of Dana Point Harbor. After a 10-year stint in Arizona (for flight training and eventually rodeo), Chris is happy to be back in California and on the water again as one of Ishkeesh's great Southern California crewmembers.
Yacht Sales Advisor, Northern California
Tom, a US Air Force veteran, grew up in a Dutch colony in northern California. Having a European background had its advantages. Being able to relate with people of different cultures and backgrounds was a thing he learned at an early age and it served him well. In Panama, while on a job as a motion picture cameraman, he learned to sail. Navigating the waters of the Panama Canal was especially challenging. Once while sailing in the Panama Canal, (without a motor) he and his friend got caught between two ships underway with very little distance between the ships. That taught him, in all things, pay attention. While in Panama Tom attended an extension program of Florida State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After finishing his Air Force tour of duty, he worked as a contractor representing CBS News and Vis News in Central America and once interviewed Manuel Noriega.
After over seventeen years of selling yachts and over 290 yachts sold, Tom says, “it is an honor to work with Ishkeesh Marine Services.”
When Tom is not selling yachts, you may find him working in restorative justice at San Quentin Prison or doing improv in the Bay Area.
