Captain Nate Eckler
Nate Eckler is a Coast Guard Certified 100 Ton Near Coastal Master with an Assistance Towing Endorsement. Nate has been operating vessels for over 32 years, including the Morris, a 125' former Coast Guard Cutter, which was the largest youth training vessel in operation in the world at the time. He served as a Sea Scout Skipper of the Neptune program and currently runs the non-profit division for the Sea Scout Ship Albatross based out of Martinez, CA. Nate has received numerous awards for his leadership of youth maritime programs.
Captain Nate is also a licensed California Yacht Broker and a proud member of the California Yacht Broker's Association (CYBA). He is chairman of the Web and Social Media Committee for the CYBA and is a member of the Marina West Yacht Club, West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, and Delta Chamber of Commerce and a member and supporter of the Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors (BAADS).
In his spare time, Captain Nate enjoys spending time aboard Kingfisher, his 53' Pacemaker Motoryacht in Northern California with his amazing First Mate Shelley.
Shelley Eckler is a member of the Karuk tribe of Northern California and owns multiple boats with her husband and they spend a lot of time up and down the Sacramento Delta region. She is active in community service through membership in the West Sacramento Mighty Rotary, West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, and the Delta Chamber of Commerce. Protection of all things related to the delta has long been a priority for her and her family.
Shelley is also actively involved in non-profit endeavors that support young musicians, as well as sailing adventures for disabled sailors and young adults. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento and is presently in the process of obtaining her Masters of Pastoral Studies through the Loyola Institute of Ministry within Loyola University, New Orleans.
Senior Director, Sales
Deanna has long had a passion for boating and being on the water. She served as a member of the Sea Scout Ship Sea Otter in Benicia, California where she achieved Sea Scouting's equivalent of an Eagle Scout and received a Quartermaster award. She now imparts her love of boating and knowledge to young mariners while serving as Executive Officer and Secretary of the Sea Scout Ship Albatross, which is led by her husband, Adam Mollwitz.
Deanna has overseen marine repair facilities and shipyards and has over 25 years of management experience. She has a degree in Child Psychology paired with double minor studies in Marketing and Human Resources from Penn State University.
She's very passionate about Ishkeesh Marine Services and loves being part of the team!
Yacht Sales Advisor, Pacific Northwest
Kevin Davidson grew up in Seattle, Washington waterskiing on Lake Washington and boating in the San Juan Islands and Desolation Sound. He attended Seattle Prep and the University of Victoria, British Columbia. Before working in commercial real estate and the marine industry, Kevin had extensive industry experience, managing the parts department for a yacht manufacturer and dealership. Kevin decided to become a Yacht Sales Advisor with Ishkeesh Marine Services so he could share his passion of all things boating with new and veteran members of the boating community.
When Kevin isn’t helping boat owners fulfill their boating dreams, you can find him teaching skiing lessons at Snoqualmie Pass or hiking in the Cascades.
Jim has owned and operated River City Physical Therapy in the Sacramento region since 1989. Prior to that he owned and operated La Palma Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Southern California. A graduate of California State University, Long Beach, Jim has a passion for helping others return to full function after an injury or illness. As a lower leg amputee, the result of a teen age motorcycle accident, Jim understands both the difficulty and value of regaining function to participate fully in life and passes that on to the patients he works with.
Jim is a competitive sailor and bareboat certified Skipper and past member of the US Sailing Team (Disabled) and has sailed in multiple countries around the world. He is also an avid snow skier and past member of the US Ski Team (Disabled) and active in working with youth programs and in disabled sports programs. Jim presently serves as the Chief National Classifier for US Sailing and is Chair of the classification committee for US Sailing and serves on the acquisition committee for the Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors.
Adam has been driving boats for almost 35 years and knows powerboats inside and out. Adam has skippered vessels all over Northern California, including offshore trips of boats up to 85' in length. Currently pursuing his 100 Ton Masters License, Adam shares his knowledge with the next generation of boaters as Skipper of the Sea Scout Ship Albatross, a program that received National Flagship recognition under his leadership.
Adam currently operates the M/V Phoenix, a 62' steel ex-San Francisco Bar Pilot Vessel. When he is not driving boats, Adam also serves as a mechanical expert on vessels of all types.
